SALA in the City - Experience Art in unexpected places

The South Australian Living Artists (SALA) Festival is a state-wide festival of visual art that runs from 1 to 31 August annually.

The City of Adelaide is a proud supporter of SALA Festival and Adelaide’s artistic and creative communities.

Each year, City of Adelaide venues host a diverse program of exhibitions featuring emerging and established artists, showcasing a wide range of artistic practices, perspectives and stories.

From painting and photography to installation, mixed media and community-led projects, the program highlights the creativity, talent and cultural richness that make Adelaide a leading centre for arts and culture.

Stay tuned for the full 2026 exhibition program!
