Adelaide is well serviced by public transport. Adelaide Metro run buses, and trams through the city and trains to and from surrounding suburbs. Fees apply. Check the Adelaide Metro website for timetables and fare information, or ask at the Adelaide Railway Station. You can ride the tram free of charge between South Terrace, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Botanic Gardens. Beyond this fees apply and tickets must be validated. For your convenience, there are also two Connector Bus services: one offering a free inner city circuit between major tourist attractions, the other extending out to North Adelaide. It’s a great way to see the sites when you’re on a budget.
