Adelaide Free WiFi

While in Adelaide, to help you keep in touch with friends and family the Australian Government, City of Adelaide and TPG Telecom are partnering to deliver a new state-of-the-art high speed Wi-Fi service across the City of Adelaide. More than 250 outdoor, wireless access points will power the new ADLFree network with coverage available around retail, business, education and medical precincts within the city and North Adelaide.

To access "ADLFree powered by TPG":

  • Step 1. Look up available Wi-Fi networks on your device
  • Step 2. Find and connect to "ADL Free by TPG"
  • Step 3. Start using Wi-Fi and follow the prompts on the screen to accept the terms and conditions.

ADLFree powered by TPG Telecom is a $4.8 million project jointly funded by the Australian Government and City of Adelaide as part of the $699 million Adelaide City Deal.

Many cafes and restaurants also offer free WiFi to paying customers. Just ask for the password when you place your order. Alternatively, the City of Adelaide's libraries offer access to a computer connected to the internet for use.
