The Adelaide Visitor Information Centre is in the rear of the Customer Centre, 25 Pirie Street, Adelaide. It helps local, interstate and overseas students and visitors. The information centre is staffed by knowledgeable, enthusiastic volunteers who can assist you with directions, brochures, maps, event guides and journey planning that will help you make the most of your time in Adelaide, and South Australia.

Note: emails are responded to Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

Adelaide Central Market is open and ready to help visitors find the information they need.

You’ll find the Adelaide Central Market Information Booth just inside the main Grote Street entrance of Adelaide Central Market. It is staffed during peak market hours, Tuesday to Saturday. The knowledgeable volunteers will not only be able to help you decide what to see and do, but they’ll also be able to tell you where in the market to get that unique ingredient too!

Whether you are arriving from overseas, interstate or somewhere within South Australia, why not experience a warm and friendly welcome from an Adelaide Greeter?

Adelaide Greeters offers free, personalised orientation walks of the city, tailored to your interests. Taking two to three hours, they are available in multiple languages. Our passionate and knowledgeable volunteers will help you discover Adelaide through various iconic attractions and give you a local’s perspective on what makes Adelaide one of the most liveable, innovative and creative small cities of the world.

The Adelaide Greeters service is for individuals or groups (couples, families, travelling friends) of up to six.

Our Greeters are part of the International Greeter Association (IGA), and this service books out quickly.
