Competition Terms and Conditions

  • These are the Terms and Conditions for the Paws and Plushie Trail Drawing Competition [TP1] (“the Competition”).
  • The promoter is the Corporation of the City of Adelaide (Council).
  • To enter this Competition, participants must complete the printed competition entry form that is downloadable online here or available in-person from Hutt Street Library and selected cafés along Hutt Street.
  • Once complete, competition forms must be returned in-person to the Hutt Street Library, located at 235 Hutt Street, Adelaide.
  • Entry in the Competition is free of charge.
  • In order to be eligible to enter the Competition, entrants must:
    • be aged between 3 years and 12 years old;[TP2]
    • be a South Australian resident (“Eligible Entrant”)
  • One entry is permitted per individual, and each entry will have an equal chance of winning.
  • As entrants are below [TP3] 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must agree to co-sign on behalf of the entrant to assist.
  • The Competition and Promotion Period opens on September 25 2024 at 9.00am ACST and closes on Wednesday 16 October 2024 at 9.00am ACST (“Promotion Period”).
  • The prize pool consists of x1 hamper to the total value of $200 from Something Special Concept Store located at 168 Hutt St, Adelaide.
  • Prizes are not redeemable for cash.
  • The winners will be handpicked by the City of Adelaide. Selection will take place on Wednesday 16 October 2024 at 25 Pirie Street, Adelaide.
  • The winners will be notified by City of Adelaide via phone or email by 5:00pm ACDT on the day of the draw through the details which they entered the Competition.
  • If the winner does not respond within 24 hours, or is unable to accept the prize, another winner will be chosen from the Eligible Entrants.
  • Upon confirmation with the winners, City of Adelaide will distribute the prize.
  • Decisions made in relation to any aspect of this Competition are final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
  • City of Adelaide and its subsidiaries staff and their immediate families are not eligible to enter the Competition.
  • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. As an entrant, you completely release Facebook and Instagram.
  • City of Adelaide makes no representation, expressly or implied, as to the quality, reliability or suitability of the prizes and expressly disclaims any liability. Any problems associated with the prizes should be brought to the attention of the respective supplier of the service.
  • Each winner and their guest/s as applicable agree to comply with the terms and conditions applicable to the issue and use of vouchers from the voucher providers.
  • By entering into this Competition the entrants acknowledge and agree that the personal information they provide may be used by the Council for future marketing purposes.
  • Entrants also acknowledge and agree that their artwork may be placed on display by Council as part of future promotions and/or art installations.[TP4]
  • Should the prize become unavailable due to the COVID-19 pandemic, City of Adelaide will use its best endeavours to provide the winner with an alternative prize.
  • Entry into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Terms and Conditions are subject to change without notice.
