Musée Extérieur is a curated, outdoor art trail that winds through the beautiful and surprising spaces of North Adelaide.

The trail begins on King William Road, travels along and between the many nooks and crannies of historic Melbourne Street, along O’Connell Street and the Park Lands.

Get up close and personal with life-size reproductions of European Master paintings from as early as the 15^th century, from the collections of the Thomas Henry Museum in Cherbourg-en-Cotentin, France.

Celebrate Bastille Day with a 3-course French inspired menu, in the gorgeous and distinctly European setting that is APOTECA. Formerly Apothecary 1878, along with the updated name, is a fresh new look with bespoke lighting, subway tiling and brand new mirror details - added to the venue’s centrepiece – a stunning 141-year-old pharmacist’s dispensary from which the venue takes its name.

Hot tip: Lovers of Champagne can also take part in their upcoming Champagne sessions where they promise to take you through a sensory analysis. Santé!

Serving up culinary delights like bouillabaisse, ratatouille and even a French-style onion, olive and anchovy pizza (pissaladière), this fabulous French-inspired bistro is a perfect place to while away a few hours with your nearest and dearest. Ask about their set menu on offer on Bastille Day and on the 18 July.

Strolling along Ebenezer Place in the city's East End, you can't miss the subway tile exterior of Hey Jupiter. This French-inspired brasserie serves up the classics such as beef tartare, les escargots, foie gras fresh and croque monsieur until late each night. Take a seat along the front for a spot of people watching Parisian style. 

On Bastille Day enjoy all the festivities with French Music and Can-Can dancers (from 8:30 pm) and of course all the delicious French-menu offerings. Bookings required.

Le Carpe Diem on Grenfell Street are hard to beat when it comes to crepes! Sweet or savoury, these little babies are irresistible anytime of the day.
