Last updated 17 May, 2023

Need something to keep the children entertained this May, and on a budget? Look no further than the DreamBig Children's Festival, which features an array of free and low-cost events for families.

Head to the Adelaide Festival Centre (AFC) and Festival Plaza from Saturday 20 May to Sunday 21 May for the The BIGGEST BIG Family Weekend for a selection of events to celebrate the iconic AFC's 50th anniversary.

There are workshops, shows and exhibitions available for children of all ages, including babies, along with the BIG Family Weekend Gala — a variety hour celebrating some of South Australia’s best young performers.

There will also be the Kidtrepreneur Markets in the Festival Theatre's Dress Circle Foyer where budding entrepreneurs can sell their wares and get an introduction to running a business.
