Visting the Adelaide Fringe doesn’t have to be an expensive exercise — there are many events that can be enjoyed for $20 for a family of four. Some you’ll even get change back or have some coin spare for an ice cream. Experience Adelaide has five of the best CBD events and activities for families, of two adults and two children, on a budget.

Mini golf at Fool's Paradise

Score a hole-in-one at the Adelaide Fringe’s newest hub, Fool’s Paradise, where a family of four can enjoy a round of mini golf for just $20. If having a putt isn’t your thing, be wowed by the free trapeze shows. You would be a fool to miss these two.

The Secret Quest

Head to Rundle Park/ Kadlitpina and help youngster Ryan save Easter after evil spirits threaten to ban the annual event. Join him on The Secret Quest and help him overcome challenges to keep the iconic holiday alive.

Cost: Free. No Bookings required.

Sideshows at the Garden of Unearthly Delights

Expect the unexpected at The Garden of Unearthly Delights with sideshow performances dotted around paths to keep you entertained. Who knows, you might just be encouraged to sit in a spontaneous show.

Cost: Sideshows along paths at The Garden are free, however, spontaneous shows may incur a fee. From 6 pm-10:30 pm on Fridays, and 5pm to 10:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays there is a $4 admission fee for patrons over 12-years-old. Show ticket holders have free entry.

Astro the Astronaut

A 10-metre inflatable astronaut has touched down on the lawns of Lot Fourteen and, it is certainly out of this world. Grab a selfie with Astro and find out why space matters so much for us here on earth. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, take a stroll down Rundle Street afterwards to enjoy on-street dining as part of East End Unleashed.

FLEX Exhibition
