Public Speaking and Presenting Using Your Voice

This all-day workshop will cover public speaking and presentation skills to help you speak in front of a small group of people or a large audience, effectively and with confidence.

In the morning, you will learn what makes an effective and memorable speech or presentation, practice vocal and breathing techniques, and learn how to write for the voice.

After lunch, pick a partner and write a short speech on a topic of your choosing or on a theme supplied by the facilitator. Have a go at presenting in front of your partner and then present your speech to the whole group for feedback and reflection. This will be a safe, welcoming and inclusive workshop environment - the perfect place to practice bravery and stepping out of your comfort zone!

Bookings essential.
