History Festival: Adelaide Queer History Tour

This one-hour audio tour, available across the whole History Festival month of May, will take you on the journey of Adelaide's queer identity from wartime to now. It presents the ups and downs, from how George Duncan's death sparked national gay rights reforms to widespread queer acceptance.

The tour reveals past, present, and emerging local queer icons, queer nightlife hotspots, and leads you down most of the Adelaide Pride March route. It is at a special price exclusive to History Festival.

The audio tour is presented by Flamboyance Tours owner and guide Katina through the free VoiceMap app which is necessary to have downloaded for participation. More information can be found on our website.
