North Adelaide Community Centre and Library

North Adelaide Library is co-located with the North Adelaide Community Centre with library services on the ground floor. There are a variety of spaces and services including a Reading Room, the History Hub and a children’s area. Meeting rooms, which are located on the second floor, can only be accessed by two flights of stairs.

The majority of programs at North Adelaide Library are delivered by the North Adelaide Community Centre. You can access specialist local history resources at regular History Hub sessions or discover other events and activities.

Accessibility

  • Welcomes and assists people who have challenges with learning, communication, understanding and behaviour. (includes people with autism, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, acquired brain injury (ABI), dyslexia and dementia)
  • Caters for people who are blind or have vision loss.
  • Caters for people who are deaf or have hearing loss.
  • Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
