Chocoholics look no further: this is your guide on where to find the best hot chocolates in the city. Whether you love yours straight up or with a twist, this list will tell you all you need to know about where to pick up a cup of hot choc.
Koko Black
Australian chocolatier Koko Black is well-known for pralines and truffles, but they also serve up a decadent hot chocolate in-store. Pick up a cup of heaven on your next visit to Adelaide Arcade, with flavours including Salted Caramel, Orange, Chilli or their indulgent Classic.
Chocolatree
For almost 15 years, North Adelaide's Chocolatree has been a firm favourite for all things chocolate and dessert. For a hot chocolate with a twist, try their Coconut Hot Chocolate to warm up this winter.
Just Bliss Chocolates
Just Bliss Chocolates absolutely lives up to its name. In addition to gourmet truffles and personalised chocolates, Just Bliss serves up sublime hot choc flavours, including a Nutella Hot Chocolate and Rice Bubbles Hot Chocolate.
Mascavado
Bringing a European flair to Hutt Street, Mascavado is the perfect spot to pick up a hot chocolate and a pastry or two on your morning commute.
Shibui
Shibui is famous for its mochi doughnuts, but did you know it also serves up a range of decadent desserts and hot drinks? Warm up with a hot choccie of your liking (with a toasted marshmallow rim!) and maybe indulge in their Chocolate Lava Tart at the same time.
Note: While Shibui's Grote Street store is currently undergoing some renovations, you can find them under the Gawler Place canopy from Thursday 18 July. More details here.
Providore
Providore in the Adelaide Central Market is a familiar favourite, much-loved for the the giant Belgian chocolate fountain in the centre of the store! Although Providore isn't serving up our favourite sweet drink, it's worth stopping by for a glimpse of the cascading chocolate and a sweet treat.
