GONDWANA VR: The Exhibition

Step inside the wet tropics of Australia at this multi-sensory experience. Be exposed to the sounds of the forest in a relaxing environment and learn more about the flora and fauna that call Tropical North Queensland home. Visitors can choose to immerse themselves by absorbing the sounds and sights of the rainforest with large projections of the exhibition film playing on the big screen, or go one step further with an all-immersive VR experience and roam the forest floor using a special VR headset.
The exhibition is open 7 days and general admission starts at $15 including VR headset access.
48 Hours of GONDWANA VR: The Exhibition
8 - 10 March 2024
GONDWANA VR will become a forest that doesn't sleep for a full 48 hours as part of this year's Adelaide Festival program. Between 8 - 10 March, visitors can step inside the forest at all hours of the day, whether it be at 2:00 am or 2:00 pm. There will also be a program of exciting events available, including Yoga in the Rainforest and Paint and Sip at the Museum on Saturday 9 March, and Meditation at the Museum on Sunday 10 March.
