Five must-see Adelaide Fringe cabaret and theatre shows, according to Velvet Rewired's Sirens

Last updated 02 Mar, 2023

Under a tent at Gluttony that masquerades as discotheque, performers Jacinta Gulisano and Sasha Lee Saunders step into a boogie wonderland whenever they step onto the stage of the big, bold and beautiful Velvet Rewired.

Experience Adelaide caught up with the dancing duo, dubbed the Sirens, to find out the top five Adelaide Fringe cabaret shows on their radars.

Velvet Rewired, featuring Marcia Hines, is on until Sunday 19 March at The Moa at Gluttony.

The Marvelllous Elephant Man

Ben Clarke's voice is incredible! When he performs as the Elephant Man that is no exception.

Velvet Rewired

It goes without saying, our favourite cabaret pick is Velvet Rewired. We love bringing the era of disco back to audiences alongside an incredible cast and Marcia Hines. It's pure entertainment — cabaret, circus, dancing and fun.

Speed: The Movie, The Play

It is not a cabaret show, but we couldn't resist the opportunity to recommend Speed: The Movie, The Play. If you've seen the movie, you'll love the play. Plus, it's set on a real, old-school bus.
