Native Fruits

Jasmine Crisp

Native Fruits by Jasmine Crisp celebrates local edible plants. Set on a striking pink background, the three plants featured in the mural are; the red fruit of the quandong, yellow fruiting blooms of the native apricot or ‘weeping pittosporum’ and the purple and green berries of the Creeping Boobialla.

This mural was made possible through a City of Adelaide’s Mainstreet and Laneways revitalisation and Improvement Grant.

The Majestic Minima Hotel is an ‘art hotel’ featuring studio rooms decorated by a selection of South Australian artists.

Jasmine Crisp is a painter and muralist based in Kaurna Yerta, Adelaide, South Australia. Her work spans both public art and gallery spaces with detailed, narrative-driven works that often reference art history. Crisps pieces feature figures, objects and places personal to the artist in playful compositions that contrast the fantastical and the familiar.
