Continuum

Bert Flugelman

Continuum was created thorough a now known highly toxic experimental process that artist Bert Flugelman was trialling, by casting metal into a polystyrene mould. The tightly coiled spiral creates a sense of movement through the perceived tension in the spring and the reflection of light from the surface of the work. The sculpture is located in the garden south of Johnson building.
