Make Music Day is a free, inclusive, city-wide festival as part of the global Fête de la Musique and celebrates Adelaide as Australia’s only UNESCO City of Music.

For one day only, 40 venues across the Adelaide CBD and North Adelaide will open their doors for a full day of live music - from relaxed daytime coffee sets to late-night performances.

Building on the success of 2025, this year’s program brings together iconic venues and unexpected spaces, with more than 360 diverse artists across 107 acts representing a wide range of musical genres, cultures and local scenes, transforming cafés, bars, galleries, bookstores and public spaces into live stages and dance floors.

Don’t miss your chance to enjoy live music at every corner of the city. Explore the full program to build your own Make Music Day trail of discovery.

Make Music Day is proudly brought to you on Kaurna Country by the City of Adelaide and our local music community.
