Chancellor of the University of Adelaide (1883-1916) Sir Samuel Way Baronet PC DCL LLD was a noted South Australian who held many important positions within the State. Alfred Dury was commissioned by a group of supporters in 1914. This statue captures Sir Samuel Way dressed in his judicial robes in mid oration.
