The original building housed the Tailor and Outfitter The Bee Hive, creating the iconic name. The current Beehive Corner was built 1895-97 in a Gothic Revival style. Notice the gold bee at the top. To the left of the Bee Hive was the original site for JA Holden & Co. Saddlers, the origins of the Holden car co.
