Eat, drink, and dance the night away across all corners of the city as part of ADL Unleashed.
Expanding on the success of East End Unleashed earlier this year, street parties, live music and pop-up dance floors are among the many events at different precincts across town for visitors to experience what the city has on offer.
AEDA Managing Director Ian Hill says ADL Unleashed – a joint initiative of the Government of South Australia, the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA) and the City of Adelaide – will bring an electric atmosphere to the city.
“Our aim for ADL Unleashed events is to bring people into the city, showcase the incredible precincts across Adelaide and the local traders within them,” says Mr Hill.
“Whether you are drinking with friends, showing off your dance moves or enjoying roving performers, there is no better place to be than the city.”
Upcoming ADL Unleashed events include:
- Waymouth Street Part on Friday 29 April and 6 May, which includes live music, roving performers, food and beverage and pop-up dance floors.
- Gouger Street Party on Saturday 30 April and 7 May, which includes live music, roving performers, food and beverage and pop-up dance floors.
- Saracens Head will host its first street party on Saturday 30 April, to celebrate the relaunch of the historic venue.
City of Adelaide Lord Mayor Sandy Verschoor says ADL Unleashed showcases some of the best talent, food and wine and businesses in Adelaide.
“As Australia’s only UNESCO City of Music, Adelaide offers stand out entertainment all around the city,” the Lord Mayor says.
“With street parties, live music and pop-up dancefloors it is a great time to come into the city and get behind our local traders – you won’t be disappointed.”
